Blend of Water

In this series I merge photography and painting to catch the light and emotion of Bohuslän. Abstract compositions of the archipelago created by layering multiple exposures, painting in layer masks and using blending techniques. The process gives me control over the level of abstraction in different parts of the pictures. Inspired by paintings and how levels of details are varied in a picture to lead the viewer’s eye.
