Above the line

I wanted to explore the materiality, boundaries, and environmental change in the archipelago.

The archipelago was photographed straight down from above to highlight the contrast between water and land, also exploring untouched nature vs human influence. The repetitive composition, with the shoreline forming a horizontal axis, invites the viewer to compare and reflect.
